Recording Vocals At Home…
Posted May 30, 2011
In the ‘Room of Doom’ this week, recording the live bits for our final album demos.
Drums, bass, guitars, synths all 98% complete… so we’re on to vocals, and we’ve both been ill. Hmm.
We don’t have a vocal booth of any sort, so we decided to fashion one out of the sofa-bed in the studio by flipping it on its side. We have no idea if it helps or simply makes everything sound worse, but it is funny.
Cameras on our laptops were left on, filming most of the day. Here’s a video summary.
(The ringing you’ll hear half way through is our friends calling from Slam Dunk festival via FaceTime so we could watch Tek-One’s set… the wonders of technology!)
Recording Has Begun!
Posted May 24, 2011
We’ve started recording our first full-length album at home this week. We will post proper blog updates about the events and disasters that will/have occurred this week, but while we’re getting stuck into the music, we’ll be uploading photos to our Tumblr page.
Last night we played The Waterfront in Norwich for the second time, with good friends Hadouken and new friends Proxies. We cannot describe in words how amazed we were at the reaction we got, it was absolutely unbelievable.
A few photos below, take a look! We understand a LOT of you couldnt fit in the shot as its a damn wide venue, BUT NO FEAR, we recorded the whole show on video for various video blog things, so hopefully once it’s edited you’ll see yourselves in HD!
THANK YOU once again to everyone that made it such an amazing night for us, wear your t-shirts with pride, like this chap (3rd photo down…) pretty much a dude. All three bands took a moment to sign his shirt with their own artistic visions of how they felt on the night.
…and yes, our game of naughts and crosses on the left did end in a draw.
We’ll be back soon! x

Upcoming Shows
Posted March 7, 2011
As well as the festivals we posted below, we have a couple of one-off shows we’re really looking forward to.
*IMPORTANT NEWS FOR NORWICH FANS*
Roughly half a year ago we were forced to cancel our show in Norwich which disappointed many, so we made a promise to return as soon as possible, but we thought we may as well make it worth the wait.
Now, the wait is finally over, and we’re psyched to announce a show with HADOUKEN! at THE WATERFRONT in Norwich! This is going to be a ridiculous night, make sure you get your tickets ASAP from the link below to avoid disappointment.
here are all upcoming events (click for ticket link)…
Our boys in Don Broco have released their awesome new track ‘Beautiful Morning’ recently, but not before they’d asked us to knock out a remix for them. And of course, we obliged.
Both the single and our remixed version are available now to buy from iTunes or by clicking the logo above… and its only £1.58 for both! Come on, you could find that down the back of the sofa without even trying. Go have a look… you can even preview both tracks before you buy.

THE BIG XMAS BASH!
Posted December 12, 2010
We’re really excited to announce we’re playing the Enter Shikari/Mythophonic Xmas party sponsored by FRONT Magazine for the second year running. It’s destined to be a great night with some great bands, namely locals Floods, Young Guns, Rolo Tomassi and of course, Shikari. Unfortunately for some, the show is now completely SOLD OUT, but for those attending make sure you’re all in front of the main stage at 6pm to catch our set.
Over 18s can continue the party til 3AM upstairs in the FRONT room. We’ll be there til kickin’ out time, so come hang out and get down to dj sets by Qemists and Shikari’s own Sgt. Rolfy and ROUT. The Roof Is On Fire… Literally
Posted November 19, 2010
So it’s day 2 of the Tek-One tour and we were woken up with some bad news. The venue we were set to play that night had been flooded by water… because next door has been burnt down to the ground, and the firefighters are still tackling the flames. Pretty shocked, we had to go and check it out.
Twas true. With nothing left to do, we wandered Nottingham looking for something to entertain us. We pretty much failed. Here’s evidence.
